The project came about from music projects that I have helped create my name is Dave Hughes aka Dave Mohican, we are based in an old school building owned by the The Bedfont Community Assoc, I originally funded a rehearsal studio and recording studio that helps young artists understand the music business as well as providing space for music classes to take place. The Recording Studio is now run by a new group called a chance of hope or ACOH for short who aim to provide music education and rehearsal space at affordable rates for the local community.
Rest assured this is a real project and is committed to being a not for profit organisation.
Dave Hughes as the manager for the Muse project my background has been in music from the age of sixteen in the Punk era, I have done everything from being a roadie for many bands and some top name bands when I was a lot lot younger, I have worked for Factory records and the Hacienda as well as being part of the Manchester Music scene I have been involved in other community based projects, I also started Mohican Records and Mohican publishing with the aim of using the technology of computers and the internet to help struggling artists to get their media distributed published to industry standards, I also worked hard on some of the first paying download web-sites and using social media to get bands information out to a paying public long before Itunes most people wont remember mp3.com one of the first platforms to help artists.
